Linnea Olsson

Ardent readers of these pages will be aware of our love for Linnea Olsson, the pop-cellist from Sweden who crafts mellifluous tunes as highlighted in her debut album Ah!.

‘Dinosaur’ is the lead single from the aforementioned LP. Crystal Palace park had an area full of sculptures of odd-looking dinosaurs. It was a (rare) sunny. You can see where we’re going with this train of thought. And so it was that we recorded a session with Linnea surrounded by an Iguanodon, a Megalosaurus, a couple of Teleosaurus and more, where she performed a gorgeous rendition of the track.

Ah! is out now via Genepool on CD and vinyl.

You can watch the session below, or via our TV Section. It’s also available via our Youtube page (please watch in HD when possible).
