Lapalux – ‘BETHR’ [Listen]

March 3, 2013

Stuart Howard under the name of Lapalux has been electrifyingly consistent in the output of his skewed yet wholly smooth electronica over the last year or so – with When You’re Gone bagging a place in our EPs of 2012.

The 25 year old is so highly regarded that Fly Lo himself made Lapalux the first British artist to be singed to LA-based label Brainfeeder. Over the weekend a new surprise track ‘BETHR’ has been hosted on his Soundcloud – a surprise in that debut album Nostalchic is set for release next month and this will not even be included. It features more of the same R ‘n B slow-jams coupled with post-whatever electronica that’s like a blissful slow mo rave underwater, whilst sampling vox from Rozalla.

Nostalchic is out March 25th via Brainfeeder and is shaping up to be one of our LPs of 2013; be sure to catch him on a UK and European tour next month and beyond too.
