Hemlock unveil ‘Chapter One’ mix to celebrate their fourth birthday

November 25, 2012

Despite hitting the relatively young age of just four years old, Hemlock have made a sizeable impact on the electronic-musical landscape with their progressive bass-driven style and sizeable tunes over this time.

Just reeling off the names to feature on their mix to mark this landmark is evidence of this in itself; the likes of Ramadanman, Fantastic Mr Fox, Pangaea, FaltyDL and James Blake (who of course debuted on the label with ‘Air & Lack Thereof’) all making a contribution. The 65 minute mix is stitched together by Untold, who pillages some of the finest moments of the label’s being alongside showcasing new, exclusive material.

Chapter One will be out November 12th on mixed CD or unmixed vinyl and digital formats – though for now listen to “R.E.J. Bit” by Joe that is an unreleased cut from it, showcasing Hemlock’s capacity for innovation with this capacious wonk of a track.
